FILM

With a love of performance, I enjoy all the genres. This includes not just theatre and outdoor performance, but film as well. I was lucky enough to be an extra on a number of film sets as a child, and loved the amazing ability to create another world on camera through the clever use of set, costume and props.

The Darkest Day

Director - Chris Crowe

Lindisfarne Films Limited

February 2012

Costume Supervisor

Set in the aftermath of the famous Viking raid on Lindisfarne in 793 AD, The Darkest Day sheds some light on the brutal reality of Saxon Britain. Shooting in Wales, I dressed the principle characters and large group of Vikings, creating suitable costumes from piles of assorted garments and furs. I was on set at all times for continuity, and aiding in costume and makeup decisions during the many fight scenes.
